Terms and Conditions for Centaur Vehicle Reservation

Reservation Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply when you reserve a product from Centaur Robotics Ltd, whether it is online, via mobile application or by telephone.  By placing a reservation, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms, so please read them carefully before you place a reservation and keep a copy or note for your records.

Placing a Reservation 

A Reservation is a pre-order for products (“Products”) that are not yet available for general sale from Centaur Robotics Ltd.

In order to place a Reservation, you will need to provide some basic information, including but not limited to your name, email address and billing information.  It is your responsibility to ensure this information is accurate and up to date.  If we do not have accurate information, we will not be able to keep you informed.

Payments

Reservation Payments do not guarantee availability of the Products but represent your offer (“Offer”) to buy the Product when it is released for sale.  We reserve the right not to accept your Offer and your Offer is only accepted once the reserved Products are dispatched. When you place a Reservation, you will need to pay the Reservation Price, which will be deducted from the final invoice price of the reserved Products. We will notify you of the invoice price at least three months prior to dispatch. You may cancel your Reservation and get a full refund of your Reservation Payment at any time before order confirmation one month prior to dispatch. Order confirmation will agree final details, build schedule and dispatch. The final payment is due prior to dispatch. If you wish to arrange personal lease finance for your purchase a member of the sales team will be able to explain the options available and put you in touch with our finance partner.

Delivery

Where possible, orders will be shipped to you as soon as is practicable, subject to availability. Orders will be shipped according to Reservation Number order, lowest numbers shipping first.

Release dates are subject to change. As a result, we cannot be liable for any changes to Release dates or Reservation windows advertised by us.

Cancellation

Either party may cancel a Reservation at any time for any or no reason prior to our order confirmation notice to you, at least one month prior to dispatch.  If cancellation occurs before the order confirmation, you will be entitled to a full refund of your Reservation Payment.

The purchase of the Reserved Products is subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be notified to you before you complete your purchase, in your order confirmation.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. Please check our website for updates.

These Terms are governed according to English law.  Any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts by English law.

FAQs

What is a reservation?

The reservation secures your build slot on the production schedule. Order reservations will be managed on a first come first serve basis.  It is not an actual order and does not guarantee delivery but it makes sure you’ll be one of the very first to get one as they roll off the production line.

What steps are required to complete my reservation?

Go online and select reserve now, create a Centaur Account, enter your details and address. Go to the payments link and pay the £100 reservation fee.  A confirmation receipt will be sent to the email address you provide. 

What is a Centaur Account and why do I need one?

A Centaur Account lets you sign into the Centaur website to save and manage your personal and reservation information. You need to create a Centaur Account to reserve your Centaur personal vehicle.

Can I make changes to my reservation?

You will be able to make changes and complete your selection at the time you complete your order confirmation, one moth prior to dispatch. 

Is the £100 reservation fee refundable?

Yes, reservation fees are refunded with reservation cancelation. Allow seven to ten business days for the reservation deposit to be credited to your original form of payment.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes. You can cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund.  You can do this in your account at centaurrobotics.com. If for some reason you can’t process the cancellation online, you can contact a Centaur Customer Experience Representative. After cancelling, allow seven to ten business days for the reservation deposit to be credited to your original form of payment. 

When can I order my vehicle?

This reservation secures your build slot in the production schedule. Final order details, any vehicle options, personalization requests and price will be agreed three months prior to dispatch. This will be followed by order confirmation one month prior to dispatch.

What is an online order?

By submitting an order and completing the order process, you are not purchasing a personal vehicle but reserving one of the first Centaur vehicles to be produced. Ordering does not guarantee you vehicle delivery. Your order does not guarantee a set-price for the vehicle as we still have to account for any change in technical specifications.

Am I ordering this vehicle directly from Centaur?

Yes, the Centaur vehicle order is being placed directly with the manufacturer, Centaur Robotics, a UK based business.

What happens to the reservation deposit once I order?

You will receive confirmation of your reservation by email to your registered email address.  Your deposit will be separately identified and managed by the Company.

When will I take delivery of my vehicle?

Production and deliveries will begin Summer 2023. Delivery times may vary based on vehicle model and configuration selected, residency and demand. Once your vehicle is scheduled, you will receive further notification.

How many reservations can I make and can I transfer my reservation?

There is a limit of 10 reservations per account. Your reservation number is allocated to you and cannot be transferred. 

What price will I pay for my Centaur vehicle?

The Centaur vehicle is provisionally priced at £6,225 with VAT exemption.  This product qualifies for VAT exemption, to qualify for VAT exemption just provide details of your long-term illness or condition (or those of the person you are buying for) at the time of purchase. Personal Credit finance will be available and estimate the cost of monthly payment options can be confirmed with our partner finance company, subject to application, which is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  

What happens if the Company is not able to produce the vehicle I have reserved?

If in the event that we are unable to supply the vehicle that you have reserved, your reservation fee will be refunded to you.
