Centaur Robotics was honoured to be selected as one of the standout British innovators at the King’s Birthday Party event, hosted by the British Consulate in Jeddah. This annual celebration brings together influential figures from across Saudi Arabia to experience the very best of British excellence — from engineering and design to culture, science and technology.
This year’s event gathered more than 500 VIPs and distinguished guests. The Centaur was exhibited alongside iconic British brands including Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin, positioning our technology firmly within the “Best of British” narrative.
Throughout the evening, the Centaur team was introduced to leaders from major hospitals, luxury resort developments, international airport operations, and representatives responsible for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s most significant religious and heritage sites. These conversations reflected a common theme: a shared belief in the importance of mobility, active living, and technology that enables people to participate fully in their communities.
What stood out was how global the conversation around healthy ageing has become. Healthcare executives, architects, and hospitality leaders all expressed interest in solutions that help people remain active, social and confident as they move through the world. The Centaur — with its award-winning British engineering and user-centred design — resonated strongly with these priorities.

For Centaur Robotics, the event marks an important step in establishing a meaningful presence within one of the world’s fastest-growing regions for innovation and investment. Saudi Arabia’s ambitious development plans place accessibility, wellbeing and visitor experience at the forefront — areas where the Centaur can offer immediate and tangible value.
While the evening was celebratory in nature, it opened the door to substantive conversations about how mobility technology can enhance daily life, support ageing populations, and enrich hospitality and public spaces. We were encouraged by the enthusiasm and curiosity from guests across sectors, and we look forward to the collaborations that may follow.

The King’s Birthday Party in Jeddah was not just an honour — it was a significant milestone for our team and a reminder of why we work to reimagine the future of mobility.
