Return Policy

At Centaur Robotics, we want every part of your experience with us to feel clear, reassuring, and straightforward. We understand that sometimes you may wish to return your Centaur, and this policy explains how that works. It is consistent with our Terms of Sale and with UK consumer law.

1. Your Rights

We comply with your statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This includes the right to cancel most online purchases and receive a refund if requested within the legal timeframe. If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with these rights.

2. Change of Mind – 14-Day Home Trial

From the day your Centaur is delivered, you have 14 days to try it at home. If you decide it is not right for you, you can return it for a full refund (deposit and balance included).

To qualify:

  • Notify us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Return the Centaur in its original condition and protective packaging (or equivalent).
  • Allow us to arrange collection to ensure safe transport.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your Centaur arrives damaged, faulty, or not as ordered, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund. We may ask for photos or diagnostic checks to help us understand the issue. Return costs will be covered by Centaur Robotics.

For faults identified after 30 days, your Centaur is covered by our 12-month warranty. Depending on the issue, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with the warranty terms.

4. How to Return an Item

Because Centaur is a high-value, bulky product, customers should not attempt to organise their own courier. We will arrange collection or provide approved instructions to ensure safe packaging and transport.

To start a return:

  1. Contact us by email at future@centaurrobotics.com with the reason for your return.
    If your Centaur is faulty or damaged, please include photos to help us resolve the issue quickly.
  2. We will confirm eligibility, provide a return reference, and arrange collection.
  3. Ensure the Centaur is securely packaged in its original box or equivalent protective packaging.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and inspecting your returned Centaur.
  • Refunds will be made to your original payment method.
  • For change-of-mind returns, deposits and balance are refunded in full once the Centaur is returned in original condition.
  • For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, any return costs will be covered by us.

6. Additional Information

  • Handle your Centaur with care during the return process. Damage caused by poor packaging or handling may affect refund eligibility.
  • Keep confirmation of your return reference until the refund has been completed.
